Song library

Songs are stored in a database on this computer. Tens of thousands is fine.

Import songs

Word (.docx) and plain text (.txt) — one song per file, or several songs each starting with “Title: …”
Spreadsheet (.csv) — columns: title, artist, language, categories, lyrics… Download a template
JSON (SwiftWord packs & backups) · SQLite incl. OpenLP · CCLI SongSelect (.txt/.usr) · OpenLyrics (.xml)

or drag files onto the Songs tab

Back up / move to another computer

For a full backup (services, slides, media, settings) use Settings → Backup.

Bible translations

All translations are held in memory, so switching is instant. KJV, BSB and ASV are public domain and included. NIV, NKJV, GNT, ESV, NLT, AMP, CSB, NASB and others are copyrighted — import them from files your church is licensed to use.

Import a translation

Accepted: OSIS / Zefania / USFX (.xml), USFM (.usfm/.sfm), SQLite (.sqlite, .db — MyBible and most Bible databases), JSON, CSV (book, chapter, verse, text) and plain text (“John 3:16 For God so loved…” per line).

This is exactly how it will look on the projector. The original file is not changed.

Pastor Screen

Shows the pastor what is on the screen now and what is next, the section timer, the time, and messages you type. The congregation never sees it.

On a screen connected to this laptop (second transmitter / cable)

Windows: press Windows+P → Extend first. Click the pastor window once (or press F) for full screen.

On a TV or tablet browser (church Wi-Fi)

Put the TV on the same Wi-Fi as this laptop, open its web browser and type:

If the computer asks whether to allow incoming connections (firewall), choose Allow (Windows: tick Private networks). If the TV cannot connect, the Wi-Fi may keep devices apart: turn on the laptop's Mobile Hotspot and join the TV to that instead.

Settings

Add the logo in Media first (PNG with transparency looks best).
